We believe that healthy relationships contribute to business progress and success. As such, we value the formal and informal relationships that we have established with other organizations throughout our development. These alliances help us remain at the forefront of our industry and provide a wider array of services to our clientele than would be possible in their absence. Accordingly, we remain steadfast in our ongoing pursuit of strategic alliances that enhance the level of service that we can provide to our clients. Our alliance partners include: Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs is home to The Center for International Conflict Resolution (CICR), a leading contributor to the resolution of international deadly conflict through research, education and practice. CICR's research, education, and practice are world renown, and The Center coordinates the efforts of academics and practitioners from governmental, nongovernmental and international organizations in joint research and action. Through our alliance with CICR, Consensus offers CICR certificates of completion to participants in our workshops. As such, it allows many clients to access their tuition reimbursement budgets in contracting our professional development services. Moreover, the Consensus-CICR relationship provides for collaboration between our organizations on various initiatives, ranging from Peace Building programs to open-enrollment professional development courses. The Picker Center is a for-profit organization that operates under the auspices of the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University. It offers degree programs and non-degree programs covering a wide range of topics and serving very diverse constituencies. It works with a select number of leading public and nonprofit organizations to design customized executive management training programs designed to immediately impact individual and organization performance. Our relationship with the Picker Center allows Consensus to work with diverse professional groups and provide high-impact skill-building programs in negotiation and conflict resolution.
