Healthy collaboration is built upon strong relationships and effective communication. However, in many situations, the relationship or communication process has so deteriorated that it needs focused attention to enable effective collaboration and problem solving. The question is, “How does one resolve the situation?" or, put differently, “How can one resolve the situation, when it’s so difficult to even raise the topic?"
Consensus’ communication training helps participants tackle these types of challenges by introducing frameworks for overcoming relationship or communication barriers, and by providing them with opportunities to practice applying them in a low-pressure environment, under the guidance of professionals. We share problem-solving strategies for meeting different parties’ needs and advice for overcoming barriers to managing differences. The goal of our courses is to provide concrete tools that participants can use to better manage interpersonal relationships in their professional contexts.
Our communication workshops are customized for each client audience, and they combine theory with practice, using a mixture of lectures, exercises, and customized role-play scenarios to achieve the learning objectives.
